Michael was allowed to run away, only because the sickness was planted deep into his mind. Not only would he spread it; it would eat him alive.

Michael is a shell of himself; having been back for two years, he lives with his younger brother Luis, who acts as his caretaker. Michael's memories of his past are mostly gone, and he can hardly function on his own; remembering to eat and take care of himself prove to be difficult. He relies heavily on his younger brother to get through his day to day life.

He can't sleep at night, so he resorts to sleeping pills. At night, in his dreams, he sees a familiar face. Pretty pink hair and a calming, loving voice that tells him to take the dive and stay in dreamland forever.

Michael's brain is slowly being eaten by the sickness. Eventually, he will go mad, and succumb to these delusions of a friend he can't recall.

This song sounds similar to SPIR୭LD୭LL, because it's a sequel! Kind of. Sequels happen after the originals and this one is sort of happening at the same time as SPIR୭LD୭LL. This is simply what's going on with Michael!

Neither Angel nor Michael are in their right minds anymore, and it's unknown if there are any chances of recovery for either. The odds are looking grim.
