So! The Deity. My friend Yorble's OC, a being who lives in a separate realm (The Meat Zone /j) that you cross into by walking through a yellow fae gate in the woods. He runs a cult where he eats his followers, with Honey Babcock (white haired fella) as his second in command. Honey...who happens to be Artemis's ex-boyfriend, who went missing after a mental health spiral.

Honey has always struggled to find meaning. His job is boring, he doesn't have any cool abilities like Artemis does- he grew to resent his life, and especially his boyfriend for being "better" or "more important than him" (which Artemis never saw himself as, it's not as though seeing visions of people's deaths is enjoyable). Honey basically made up this false narrative that Artemis was gloating when venting about his visions, and that his own place in the world was simply to be a pedestal for Artemis to stand upon. Something he never communicated to Artemis until blowing up on him one night before storming off. Honey never came back after that.

Honey is a devout follower to The Deity, because The Deity gives him purpose. Was it the entrancing atmosphere that contributed to Honey's fall from grace? Or was he simply just that messed up of an individual all along? Who knows? But Honey believes now that he is destined to be Artemis's opposite. If Artemis is a savior of lives, than Honey shall be a bringer of death. Anything to feed his Deity, even if it means eating a few people, or letting himself be eaten.

SO YEAH. HONEY'S INCH SANE AND THE DEITY'S LIKE "OHHH MY FUCKED UP LITTLE MEOW MEOW" PROBABLY.
